The course covers the most frequently used mathematical procedures used in all physical sciences, in particular the use of equations and graphs.

Examples will be drawn from all disciplines, but especially from Chemistry, Electronics and Physics A levels and the work will support your classwork and coursework in these subjects. 

You are encouraged to bring along examples of work you are finding difficult.

Science in Society (SIS) is the new course taking over from Science for Public Understanding. It is a course about How Science Works, and includes topics such as Health, Risk, Energy and Pollution.
